When I started community gardening a year ago, I had a vague dream: we will plant lavender, that will quickly grow, I make drawings while it is growing, we harvest the lavender at the end of summer, and I will make small lavender sachets with my drawings for my family and friends for Christmas. Well, it proved to be a quite ambitious dream. We only had a few lavanders by the end of fall, and I did not really have time to draw because we had so much to do even with our tiny garden. This I postponed my little plan.
But life brought back those plants to my life this January: not my drawings, but in the form of engravings. Three of them, that are very popular in small gardens, wanted to be on fabric: basil, tomato and chili paprika. Things became quite quick after choosing the plants: with a little modification my dream became reality as the new Balcony Garden collection, in which the focus is on these three plants.
The Balcony Garden collection is not only a collection of jewelry: it is also a lifestyle. Why? Because with every jewelry every one gets a free sample of the plant’s seed thanks to seed-expert Mon Jardin! These seeds can be planted on the garden, in balcony, or even in the window, so you not only get a jewelry, but a Balcony Garden as well along with it!
The Balcony Garden collection will be available in my etsy shop and also in my studio shop in Budapest.
