Urban girl in the countryside / A városi lány vidéken

I am a very urban girl, and I do act like an urban girl ….especially in the countryside. Today we were at the countryside – visiting the city of  Pannonhalma – and I did not deny myself. We visited a couple who have a big pen with all sorts of animals. Every second minute I screamed, just like an urban girl who has never seen real animals. “Hairy pig!” – I screamed when I saw that the pig they had was fully covered with curly hair, since they did not put thepigs into a barn for the winter. “Oh my God, a real guinea-fowl!” – I screamed, when I saw it running all around. I have only seen their feathers so far: but this way they are more beautiful. But the top of the visit were the newborn lambs. “Geeee, so tiny lambs” – I screamed again, when I saw the lambs, who were only a couple of hours old. I just could not resist: I had to take photos with my mobile.

Nagyon városi lányka vagyok, és úgy is viselkedem….főleg vidéken. ma vidéken jártunk – Pannonhalmán – és nem tagadtam meg magam. Meglátogattunk egy párt, akik rengeteg állatot tartanak egy nagy karámban. Csak minden második percben kiáltottam fel, pont úgy mint egy városi lányka, aki még sosem látott valódi állatot. “Szőrös malac” – kiáltottam, amikor megláttam a göndör szőrrel borított malacot, amely a tél alatt kinövesztette a szőrét, mert télire nem szállásolták el zárt térbe, hanem kint hagyták. “Úristen, igazi gyöngytyúk” – kiáltottam megint, amikor megpillantottam össze-vissza rohangálni a madarat, aminek eddig csak a tollaival találkoztam. De a látogatás csúcspontja az újszülött bárányok voltak. “Úristeeeen, milyen pici bárányok!” sikítottam, amikor megláttam az alig pár órája született báránykákat. Nem bírtam megállni, és a mobilommal fotóztam.

   I remember, when you visited us and went to the pub of the local Roma. You – the urban girl – were dancing like an angel, no complexes, no “nothing” (sic!), and you enjoyed it! Do not start having complexes now … Emléxem, amikor meglátogattál bennünket és elmentünk a helyi romakocsmába. Úgy táncoltál, mint egy angyal mindenféle komplexus nélkül, és élvezted! szóval nincs gond ám a városilányságoddal :o)))

   My fiance is an urban guy and I’m from country side and when I first started to visit me, he was just like you! :) He didn’t scream that much, but pretty much the same reaction :D
