I admit, I am late. I should have written it right after the meeting, but Xmas rush rushed over me….but now I pay my dues, and here is my version of the meeting with pictures.

Elismerem, elkéstem ezzel a poszttal. Rögtön a találka után kellett volna megírnom, csak hát elkapott a karácsonyi gépszalag….de most megadom tartozásom: imhol az én verzióm a találkozóról képes beszámoló formájában.

On 18th December I started my journey at 7 am towards Vienna to meet my etsy friends Swee from Swiedebie, Baa from Baahar and Renate Kreativlink. During the 3 hours long trip I was sleeping and looking at the running trees.

December 18-n reggel hétkor indultam Bécsbe, hogy találkozzak etsy-s barátaimmal: Swiedebie-vel (Swee), Baahar-ral (Baa) és Kreativlinkkel (Renate). A három órás út alatt jót szundítottam és néztem a rohanó fákat.

After the arrival – when I had to face the sad fact, that Reante is ill, and cannot join us – we headed towards our first coffee and eating place: Alda Cafe. We had some cakes and coffee – and Baa drawed a little map for to use it in the afternoon. (Yes, it is on the green paper – it is clear, isnt it? :-))

Miután megérkeztünk – és szembesültem a  szomorú ténnyel, hogy Renate beteg és ezért nem tud jönni – beültünk enni és kávézni az első helyünkre: az Alda Cafe-ba. Ettünk némi péksütit, ittunk kávét, majd Baa rajzolt egy térképet nekünk délutánra.  (Igen, ez látható a zöld papíron – minden tiszta rajta, nem? :-))

After eating at the cafe, we went to Bartoletti, which is Baa’s favourite place because of its (allegedly)  good ice-cream. That is why Baa was quite disappointed, when  – after spending 10 minutes in the freezing cold – Swee and me chose to drink a hot cup of  tea and eat (more) sandwiches instead of ice cream.

Miután befejeztük a kávézóban az evést, elmentünk a Bartoletti kávézóba, ami Baa kedvenc helye az ott kapható állítólagosan jó fagyi miatt. Valószínűleg ez okozta Baa csalódottságát is: tíz perces utcai fagyoskodás után Swee és én úgy döntöttünk, hogy inkább iszunk egy csésze forró teát, és eszünk egy (újabb) szendvicset a fagyi helyett.

With tummy full of food we unpacked our gifts: Swee got two rings for her birthday, and we got lovely dolls, and plushie cakes and Xmas trees from her.

Tele hassal kibontottuk ajándékainakt: Swee gyűrűket kapott tőlem, mi pedig édes babákat és plüss sütiket és karácsonyfákat.

After Baa left us at the Naschmarkt, we went into the first restaurant we could find. Suprisingly it was very cold outside and we were hungry! Swee and her hubby ate meatball soup and I ordered my favourite: fritatensuppe. (Meat soup with pencakes.)

Miután Baa lecsatlakozott rólunk a Naschamarktnál, bementünk az első étterembe, amit találtunk. Meglepő módon nagyon fáztunk és éhesek voltunk! :-) Swee és a férje húsgombócos levest evett, én meg a kedvencemet: a palacsintatésztás húslevest.

With full tummy again, we visited the Xmas market, and I found an amazing shop: its owner is making jewlery and handbags out from PC-parts, and I fell in love with one of his bag-design.

Ismét teli hassal ellátogattunk a karácsonyi vásárra, ahol találtam egy elképesztő boltot: a tulaja számítógép-alkatrészekből csinál ékszert és táskákat, és én beleszerettem az egyik táskába.

While Swee was trying a hat I took a picture of us in the mirror…

Mialatt Swee sapkát próbált, én gyorsan csináltam magunkról egy képet…

Then it became dark – and even colder – and I had to catch my train back. I was running to the train station all along the Mariahilfer Strasse, which looked quite nice with Xmas lightings all around.

Aztán besötétedett – és még sokkal hidegebb lett -, és el kellett érnem a vonatomat haza. A pályaudvarhoz a Mariahilfer Strasse-n rohantam végig, ami nagyon jól nézett ki a karácsonyi világítással.
